I have received a new mail alert, but there is no new mail. Why is this?

Common reasons why you might receive a new mail alert, but there does not appear to be any new mail in your digital mailbox are:

  • You, or another user you have provided with access, have already read the new document.
  • Another user, possibly your partner, has provided your e-mail address for receiving new mail alerts. The new mail alerts will then be for this user and not for you.

If you want to ensure that any new mail alerts are for you, you can enter your name under settings. Your name will then be shown in the subject field of the message that is sent when you have received new mail. You can then be certain that the message is for you.

  1. Select the menu item Settings
  2. Click the button marked Edit information
  3. Enter your name and click OK
